Lady Lockley’s Trucking is proudly woman-owned and we’re redefining what leadership looks like behind the wheel. With excellence, integrity, and vision at the core, Lady Lockley’s is driving change — one mile at a time.

Since 2010

Lady Lockley’s Trucking, based in Newport News, Virginia, is a woman-owned transportation company specializing in freight logistics and hauling services. Founded and led by Serita Lockley, who inherited her passion for truck driving from her father, the company has been in operation since 2010. Known as the “#DumpTruckKween,” Serita is not only an entrepreneur but also a trucking consultant dedicated to assisting newcomers in the hauling industry. The company’s commitment to excellence has been recognized in various media outlets, including features on Amazon’s “Regular Heroes” and the “Truck N’ Hustle” podcast company specializing in freight logistics and hauling services.

MEET LADY LOCKLEY

Serita Lockley, better known as the Dump Truck Kween, was born and raised in a small town in Middlesex County, VA where her family was one of the only diverse families in the community. Her town was one that you either make it in or get trapped in due to extremely rough circumstances. Growing up, Serita’s mom lived paycheck to paycheck while working multiple jobs and her dad was a dump truck driver. When Serita was 26, her mom unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack. Serita’s mother’s last words to her were, “Be the best version of yourself” and they stuck with her to this day.

Serita believes that trucking keeps the world moving. Serita’s father was a dump truck driver and she always loved seeing him work. He actually taught her to drive the truck when she got her license and from that point on, she always knew she’d be a trucker. She worked hard to save for her first tractor-trailer and since then has added 9 more trucks that haul supplies all over Virginia. As an ode to her father, she also opened a dump truck company. Serita may own the company, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t behind the wheel. Never losing her love of driving, she still gets in the driver’s seat and hits the road.

She has also become a broker and has more than 40 trucks working for her at any given time. Now she is the proud owner of a multi-million dollar company paying it forward to the community she loves and the #1 woman-owned trucking company in the Hampton Roads area.  In 2020, Lockley was featured on Amazon Prime Video’s series Regular Heroes for her role in providing help to her community during the COVID-19 pandemic. She’s owned multiple companies in her career and her keen business sense has helped her gain tremendous professional success not to mention, she’s eager to share the lessons that she has learned along the way.  She’s been featured in Out Front Magazine and on the Truck N’ Hustle podcast, and her sage advice is available to her clients and followers daily.
